「うん、ぱる、あいきゅん」は鹿児島県、与論町に残るユンヌフトゥバ（与論語）。 「うん」は”海”、「ぱる」は”畑”。そして「あいきゅん」は”働き者”。 美しい海洋資源に恵まれた奄美群島に有って、周囲を生きた珊瑚礁に囲まれた 与論町の美しさは群を抜く。 一方この島で生まれ育ち、昔ながらの生活を続ける”うん、ぱる、あいきゅん”は数少ない。 時代は変わり、失われようとしている生活様式を背景に、 この島の魅力と課題を浮き彫りにする。

Un, palu, aikun’ is a Yunnu Hutuba (Yoron language) from the town of Yoron, Kagoshima Prefecture. Un’ means “sea”, “palu” means “field”, and “aikyun” means “hard worker”. And ‘Aikyun’ means ‘hard worker’. In the Amami Islands, which are blessed with beautiful marine resources, the beauty of Yoronto, surrounded by living coral reefs, is outstanding. On the other hand, there are only a few ‘un, palu, aikun’ who were born and raised on the island and continue to live as they did in the past. Against the backdrop of changing times and a way of life that is being lost, this film highlights the charms and challenges of the island.
